Jose is a Law Clerk at Gottlieb Family Law Professional Corporation. He holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from Mexico, where he also earned a postgraduate diploma in Constitutional Law. His final project was guided by Rafael Coello Cetina, the Secretary General of Agreements for the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation in Mexico.
Before relocating to Canada, Jose spent 11 years in the commodities sector, working with prominent mining companies as a legal manager and corporate counsel. Upon moving to Canada, he pursued his interest in common law by completing a Paralegal Diploma at Durham College.
In 2024, Jose was called to the bar as a Licensed Paralegal. He now applies his extensive legal expertise to drafting documents, managing case files, and supporting trial preparations.
Outside of work, Jose enjoys swimming, hiking, and spending quality time with his family.
